Adding Faculty Advisors, Pilots, and Non-Members to Fast Track Roster
All students and faculty advisors must be affiliated to the team roster on your Series Competition Website (fsaeonline.com, bajasae.net, saeaerodesign.com) as well as verifying your SAE membership account www.sae.org as per the rules.
Faculty Advisors
New to 2026 our existing Faculty Advisors should have received an email invitation to accept their Faculty Advisor Role for your Series Competition Website. If you received that email, you will click the link to accept and it will automatically place you on the Fast Track Roster as an Attendee able to mark their participation. See Fast Track Roster Management for details on how to update your information for competition.
If you are a new Faculty Advisor or did not receive the email, your Team Captain will need to add you as a Non-Team Member under the purpose of Faculty Advisor. Please see the instructions below.
Navigate to your Registration Dashboard
Click ‘Manage Roster’ under the competition
Click ‘Add Non-Team Member’ button at the top right section of the page.
Complete the required fields. Purpose is Faculty Advisor.
Click the ‘Add Non-Team Member’ button at the bottom.
The Faculty Advisor will then need to marked as “Attending'
Pilots
Team Pilots will now need to be added by Team Captains to the Fast Track Roster. *This only applies to teams bringing a Pilot with them to competition.
Please follow the steps below.
Navigate to your Registration Dashboard
Click ‘Manage Roster’ under the competition
Click ‘Add Non-Team Member’ button at the top right section of the page.
Complete the required fields. Purpose is Pilot.
Click the ‘Add Non-Team Member’ button at the bottom.
The Pilot will then need to marked as “Attending'
If you need to request a Pilot, please submit a ticket to our Support Team ahead of competition.
Other Non-Team Members
Teams will sometimes have a need for a translator or media team to travel with them to competition and if that is the case for you in 2026, you will follow the same steps outlines above for Pilots but when completing the required fields, you will enter the purpose as it fits the attendee. For example, Translator, Pilot, Videographer, Media, etc.
*As a reminder, there is still a limit for how many people can be on the Fast Track Roster and for those who will be permitted a wristband at competition. If you are unsure of the limitations for your competition, please review the rules for that series.
Spectators
Spectators should NOT be added to your team’s Fast Track Roster. There is a separate registration process for spectators onsite at competition.
