Xometry - Financial Support

SAE and Xometry understand that every team's journey is different. For some teams, securing the resources needed to compete can be one of the biggest challenges of the season. Through the Xometry Student Access Program, eligible teams may apply for needs-based stipends designed to help reduce participation barriers and create more opportunities for students to engage in hands-on engineering experiences.

If financial challenges are standing between your team and its goals, we encourage you to learn more and apply.

Requirements Overview: 

• Planned participation with in an eligible 2027 SAE University Programs registration or waitlist spot secured.
  Teams may apply early, but will require an order number tied to their team to be granted the stipend.   

• Complete the stipend application by the published deadline.  

• Demonstrate financial need / barriers impacting your team. 

• Register for LaunchPad Live and attend the Xometry Keynote Session
  Note: Xometry Keynote is scheduled for 10:30 AM EDT on Sept 8th (Baja), Sept 9th (Formula) and Sept 11th (Aero)

• At least 1 individual on your team to signup and participate within at least one engineering discipline discussion room:

• Agree to share team photos with SAE + overview of the impact of the award if selected.
